Owner about Kira:
Kira is my first border collie and after 4 years with her I know she is multitalented dog with predispositions to most of dog sports and she is my dream came true.

Her only problem is too slow handler.

Kira is doing everything on 200%.

She is quite small (48cm; 13,5kg) with great body awarness and definetely without knowledge about gravity.

In everyday life she is happy, full of energy, loving to be cuddle and kiss. Perfect on/off.

About sport - for me Kirā is perfect dog.

We train dogfrisbee.

Because of covid and my health problems our freestyle debut was in 2021, not earlier. We had place 16/22.

She also started few times in distance disciplines with me, Marta Iga Haręża, Karolina Półkarz (they were in Masters category in TNG2).

In frisbee she is super fast, with great tracking and catching hard and bad throwed discs.

She is super agile with perfect, natural jumping technique. Every new freestyle figure she learn super fast and easy.

Nothing can distract her, she has no problem with noises, bad wearher like cold, hot, wet, competition atmosphere like crowd of people and dogs etc.

Sometimes Kirā tryes to make me faster (I am too slow for her) or does something faster than my cue (great memory and reading from my body), but we are always carefull about not allowed her to do it.

So we are not stop our training - she doesn't stop thinking and after few seconds she again listen the cues.

She is sensitive for my emotions - if I am angry about something, she also became a little bit sad, but she isn't drama queen with it - she forget fast and go into work again with the same motivation and entusiasm.

If I will do something wrong on training and she doesn't have possibility to do the figure good she shows her frustration by "discuss".

She is high motivated and crazy about toys. No problem with changing toys on food or food on toys on training.

Since May 2021 we joined flyball team Woof.

In 3 months she learned all pieces of flyball course, so in 2022 we plan our debut in this sport.

Two times we were on sheeps - trainer said that with good regular trainings she could be nice in this activity.

But probably it isn't natural born talent for herding.

The biggest problem on sheeps is me - I feel bad and I am still worried that I will do something sheeps or myself.

So we didn't continue this activity.

She is good with read other dogs and shows her emotions nicely.

She avoids conflicts and in hard situations she chooses walk away.

Dogs she knows she accept. Dogs wich are brazen she tryes to chase away.

In this situation she is 100% possible to recall.

She loves swim and loves long jumps to water. In next year we would love to go for some dogdiving trainings, as she looks pretty good with it.
